Finch banned after positive test

Workington player James Finch has been given a five-month suspension by the UK Anti-Doping authority after testing positive for the banned substance ephedrine.
The 27-year-old centre or winger, who moved from Barrow to Workington 12 months ago to play alongside younger brother Liam, claimed to have taken the Chinese herb MaHuang, which is a natural source of the stimulant ephedrine.Finch's ban started on September 5 and will end on February 5, 2011.
